Proofreading, Revision and Editing
Seneca once said: "Errare humanun est." Editing is the careful checking of the translated text against the source document. Proofreading is the cursory reading of the French document to make sure it is clear and contains no mistakes. Both editing and proofreading are performed by a different linguist who is not the translator. Revision is the insertion of tracked changes in a French document after an English document was updated. The revisions are sometimes edited too. These services are quoted at an hourly rate. We track vigilantly any of your feedback or comments, project after project.
