FrenchLink was founded by Anne Chemali in 1999. Since then, she has been working full-time on translating and editing various contents from English into French, with a focus on hi-tech. A member of the  American Translators Association and actively involved in her local French Alliance, Anne collaborates with a network of reliable professional linguists who are native speakers from France and Canada.
| | | Anne was born and raised in France, where she graduated with a Textile and Chemistry Masters from l’Université Catholique de Lille in 1989. She has a rather analytical and rational mind and loves technology. She took Masters courses in Applied Linguistics at Kent State University, Ohio. Her family is bilingual with 3 cultures. She travels a lot, and has an avid interest in world cultures and inter-cultural communication. Translating professionally is not merely playing with the words of two languages that one can use fluently, but mostly dealing with technical, linguistic, and perception challenges that arise at the interface of two cultures.
